Meet Ryan

Meet Ryan, the creative force behind D & R BUILT and your go-to expert for turning home dreams into reality. With a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and design, Ryan’s journey began in the world of carpentry, working alongside his grandfather, a skilled carpenter. During his teenage years, Ryan honed his skills in finish carpentry, remodelling, and furniture making, learning the art of transforming raw materials into beautiful, functional pieces.

While pursuing his studies in graphic design and launching a successful career in advertising, Ryan never lost touch with his roots. His keen eye for design and knack for translating ideas into visual concepts became valuable assets in the competitive world of advertising. Eventually becoming the head of a leading production studio downtown, Ryan’s success in the advertising industry was undeniable.

However, a desire for more hands-on work, increased family time, and a break from the daily commute led Ryan back to his first love — construction and remodelling. This journey reunited him with his high school friend, Dave, and together they founded D & R BUILT. With a commitment to clean, polite, and courteous service, Ryan ensures that every project reflects his passion for creating spaces that are not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

Ryan’s diverse skill set, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities, is the driving force behind D & R BUILT’s ability to deliver outstanding results. Whether it’s an intricate finish carpentry detail or a comprehensive interior renovation, Ryan’s touch ensures that each project is a true reflection of the client’s vision.

Outside of the workshop, you’ll find Ryan hanging with his family, making music with his friends, and working on his delivery of endless dad jokes.
